About Us
The Anglican Province of America is one of a large group of traditional Anglican Churches.    We are committed to an orthodox understanding of the Christian faith, as declared in the historic Book of Common Prayer, the Thirty-Nine Articles and in Holy Scripture.

We subscribe to the traditional Ecumenical Councils and the the three historic creeds--Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian.  We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God and to contain all things necessary to salvation.

Anglican Province of America

The Anglican Province of America is a traditional Anglican body.  Our presiding bishop, the Most Rev. Walter Grundorf, is at the Cathedral of St.  Alban, Orlando (Oviedo) Florida.

Our diocesan bishop is the Most Rev. Dr. Lawrence L. Shaver.  He can be reached at the Cathedral Church of St. Andrew.

Our Mission

Our mission is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a troubled world, with love and compassion.  We want to make the Christian message known to those who do not know Christ as Lord and Savior.  We are committed to feeding the hungry, comforting the lonely, and healing the sick.

Anglican Social Services, located at the Cathedral, provides counseling to individuals with a variety of issues including depression and substance abuse.

We are deeply committed to Ecumenical endeavor, and have hosted a variety of interactive experiences with members of the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches.
